CHI’s technical assistance supports the recruitment, retention and integration of community health workers to enable clinical staff to practice at the top of their license and to address the social determinants that impact health outcomes. We can help your organization optimize practices to improve the patient experience of care; improve the overall health of populations and reduce the per capita cost of healthcare.

Our team brings a wealth of experience and language skills to assist hospitals, universities, community-based organizations, and other entities with meaningfully engaging diverse communities and community members in a variety of research activities.

Our activities have included conducting community health assessments, focus groups and research interviews. Past clients have included: UMass Worcester; UMass Lowell; UMass Medical School; MA Department of Public Health; MA Association of Community Health Workers; Joint Coalition on Health; Montachusetts Public Health Network; and Community Health Connections.

We work with organizations, agencies, and employers to create customized curricula for health workers, including Community Health Workers and other frontline public health workers.
