The Center for Health Impact (CHI) is an approved Community Health Worker education and training provider through the Massachusetts Board of Certification of Community Health Workers.
In addition to CHI’s Board-Approved Community Health Worker Core Competency Training Course, we offer a broad range of Board-approved professional development and continuing education programs designed to strengthen the knowledge and skills essential to effective CHW practice. Continuing education completed through Board-approved CHW training programs may be applied toward Massachusetts CHW certification renewal requirements.*
CHI trainings are open to everyone, including certified and non-certified CHWs, healthcare professionals, social service providers, and others interested in expanding their knowledge and applying these skills in their work with community members.
* Massachusetts Certified Community Health Workers must complete 15 contact hours of qualified continuing education during each two-year certification renewal cycle. Continuing education must meet the requirements established by the Massachusetts Board of Certification of Community Health Workers under 272 CMR 7.00.
