Established in 1982, the Central Massachusetts Area Health Education Center, Inc. DBA Center for Health Impact (CHI) is a woman owned non-profit organization (W/NPO) 501©3 certified by the Massachusetts Supplier Diversity office.
Our Mission
CHI’s mission is to create health equity through establishing community-governmental-academic partnerships and innovative strategies to address structural racism and linguistic inequities, promote workforce development, impact public policy, and inform community based participatory research and research that enhances access to quality healthcare and education.

With social justice as a core value, we model a collaborative, asset-based approach in working with you to improve systems, train staff, and solve seemingly intractable problems.
