CHI Contracted by the New York State Association for Rural Health (NYSARH) to Develop New Curricula

NYSARH, with funds from the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation, has engaged CHI’s expertise to help support and expand its Older Adult Rural Support (OARS) program. The goal of the work is strengthening rural older adult mental health education and helping expand the behavioral health workforce statewide in New York. CHI’s contribution included developing training content for an online on-demand learning platform on topics such as social determinants of health, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and more, to build capacity of the rural health workforce.
