CHI Trains Staff from Girl-Serving Organizations in Worcester as CHWs

Staff of girl-serving organizations have unique access and ability to support the health and wellbeing of girls. With support from the Fred Harris Daniels Foundation, CHI offered its 80-hour State Board of Certification of Community Health Workers-approved core competency course to girl-serving staff from Worcester organizations including Latino Education Institute, YWCA Central Massachusetts, Girls Inc., Boys & Girls Club of Worcester, YMCA of Central Massachusetts, Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts, Worcester RISE for Health, Worcester Children’s Chorus, and Worcester State University.
